Clarification Adhoc Relief Allowance 2023 Punjab @ 35% and 30% / Special Allowance

Finance Department clarified vide Notification on 13-12-2023 that Adhoc Relief Allowance 2023 Punjab @ 35% and 30% and special allowance 2022 @ 15% of Revised Basic Pay Scales 2017.According to the said notification ,the employees of the Punjab Government will this ARA-2023 on a frozen level and they will not get it in increased.

The new entrants will also get this ARA-2023 but on the initial of 2022 Basic Pay Scales. Upon the promotion, they will get the same amount that they were already drawing. However if the amount on the initial of the new pay scales is greater than the previous one, then the employee will get the greater amount.

Wherein the employees have been promoted or upgraded, they would draw ad-hoc relief allowance on the minimum of the higher pay scale in terms of para 04 and 05 of the department’s clarification letter.
3.Similarly, the promotion case the adhoc relief allowances 2022 at 15%. And special allowance 2022 from BS-01 to BS-19 at 15% of the basic pay of Revised Pay Scale 2017. Whether these 02 will remain frozen as much the scale or will be paid equal to fresh appointees. Where pay is fixed on the minimum of the next scaleAs above
