A notification of Clarification of Remuneration Charges for Census Field Staff 2023 by PBS has been issued on 29-03-2023.Further detail is as under;
PROVISION OF FUNDS ON ACCOUNT OF HIRING OF VEHICLES, TRAINING & REMUNERATION CHARGES TO FIELD STAFF
Reference this office letter of even number dated 18th to 21st March, 2023 on the subject cited above.
2. It has been observed that Field Staff is being demanding conveyance charges for their mobilization in the field and complaints regarding non provision of Hiring of vehicles to them through call center/help line No. 0800-57574. This issue has already been clarified in this office letter No. PBS.FS.Full.R.C (1)/2023 dated 9th March,2023 (copy enclosed).
It is further again informed that funds has been provided for following purposes:-
Lump Sum of training charges inclusive of conveyance charges will be provided to Field staff on prescribed rates.
Payment to Government Departments for Remuneration Charges to Enumerators:- Rs.25,000 per block in- Services Renders (Training & lieu of conveyance & TA/DA will be paid after completion of census Remuneration Charges) field operation on prescribed rates.
Remuneration Charges to Supervisors:- Rs. 52,000/- will be paid inlieu ofconveyance & TA/DA to supervise Census field operation on prescribed rates.
2 Hiring of 01 Vehicle for PBS posted staff Supervision /Monitoring of Census Operation by the PBS staff and at Census District Level Coordination Committees.
Hiring of Vehicles for movement of Vehicles will be hired for logistic arrangement of movement of 3 Enumerators, Supervisors and LEA Security Personnelwith Field Staff from meeting point to near of personnel blockand back to meeting point.
3. It is requested to adhere the instructions of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics regarding the matter communicated time to time.
