A notification regarding Ban to use the students for Non-Academic Activities has been issued by School Education Department Punjab due to rising of Smog issue in Punjab.
INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING BAN TO USE THE STUDENTS FOR NON ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES IN PUNJAB SCHOOLS
Apropos to the subject
2. In continuation of the directions already issued by this department from time to time, it is reiterated that no student shall be given any sweeping / cleaning, gate keeping etc duty by school head or any teacher However, in case of non-availability of Sweeper or ‘Chowkidar’ the school can arrange workers on daily wages for stop gap arrangement. Such expenditure may be met out from Non-Salary Budget (NSB) or Frough-e-Taleem Fund after getting approval from School Council.
3.The head teachers shall be responsible for compliance of above mentioned instructions and strict disciplinary action shall be taken against the said.The Director (Monitoring), School Education Department with the direction to upload on official website and share in WhatsApp groups of CEO’s (DEA).
