A notification regarding closing Schools in Punjab due to Closing Schools in Punjab due to Conjunctivitis Crisis has been issued on 27-09-2023 by School Education Department,Govt.of Punjab.According to this notification,all public and private schools will close w.e.f 28-09-2023.Further detail is as under;

No.S0(A-01-31/2008(P4): In the wake of spread of Conjunctivitis / Pink Eye Infection among school kids. Competent Authority is pleased to announce that all Public & Private Schools of the Province shall remain closed from Thursday 28-09-2023 till Sunday 01-10-2023
- All schools shall reopen from Monday 02-10-2023 and shall observe the SOPs issued by this Department (copy enclosed) to curb the spread of Conjunctivitis / Pink Eye Infection.
- All Chief Executive Officer’s (DEAs) in Punjab are directed to ensure compliance of the orders.
