In the latest education update, the Punjab Education Department has decided to stop providing free textbooks to students. Previously, students from Nursery to 10th class received complimentary books, but recent changes have been made.
Starting this year, 50% of students from sixth to tenth grade and 80% of fourth and fifth-grade students will receive books. The remaining books will be completed by schools, withdrawing them from students who have graduated this year.
