I am directed to state that the Chief Minister/ Competent Authority has been pleased to approve the `e-Transfer Policy 2022′ of the School Education Department (copy enclosed). The objective of the Policy is to develop a comprehensive and all-encompassing solution to the transfer matters of teachers of SED. This e-Transfer Policy is expected to considerably improve transparency, and service delivery and shall go a long way towards the elimination of discretion and possible abuse of authority.
2. I am, therefore, directed to convey that the provisions of the e-transfer policy 2022 shall be implemented in letter and spirit by all concerned.
This E Transfer Merit Calculation Formula is to calculate the merit when more than one teacher will apply for Transfer from one school to another school.
There are two types of transfers in the Punjab School Education Department.
- Hardship
- Open Merit
Open Merit E Transfer Merit Calculation and Ranking Criteria 2022
There is a total of 65 marks in open merit transfers in the school department Punjab.
- 25 Marks of Distance
- 20 Marks of Tenure
- 20 Marks for Lenght of Service in Current Grade
25 Distance Marks Calculation
In 25 Marks of Distance 20 marks are for within District. 0.4 Marks for Each Kilometer are counted for distance marks within the district. In 25 marks of distance 5 marks are for above 50 KM. 0.1 marks for each extra Km above 50.
For Example, if Mr. Ali is applying for a transfer from his school to another school that is 25km away from his school then he will get 0.4*20= 8. So Ali will get 8 out of 20.
20 Marks of Tenure Calculation
02 Marks for Each Year in the Current and same Post. The day-to-day calculation is (2/365) * No of Days in Year if the year is not complete.
20 Marks for Lenght of Service in Current Grade
02 Marks for Each Year in the Current Grade. The day-to-day calculation is (2/365) * No of Days in Year if the year is not complete.
Hardship E Transfer Merit Calculation and Ranking Criteria
There is a total of 35 marks in hardship merit transfers in the school department in Punjab.
- 15 Marks for Divorced / Widowed / Wedlock/ Marriage Inter District Case.
- 10 Marks for Divorced / Widowed / Wedlock/ Marriage within District Case.
- 15 Marks for Disability
- 05 Marks for Medical
How to Apply for E Transfer in Punjab School Education Department
E Transfer can be applied only through SIS Punjab Application.
Download SIS Punjab Application
After Installing SIS Punjab Application Login with the username and password given by Punjab School Education Department. After Successful Login Click on E Transfer Tab and Then Choose the Open Merit Option or Hardship Option.
In the E Transfer Application after choosing the option fill the required details of schools. After that, your application will be done and you have to wait till the last date to get your final status.
