A notification regarding Extension in Date of Filing of Income Tax Returns for the Tax Year 2023 has been issued on 30-09-2023 by FBR According to this notification,the date has been extended to 31-10-2023.Previous date for filing of Income Tax Return was 30-09-2023.Now this date has been revised.Further detail is here below:
Tax Year 2023 Filing Deadline Extended to October 31, 2023
In exercise of powers conferred under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to communicate that the date of filing of Income Tax return for Tax Year 2023, for the persons who are required to file their returns by September 30th, 2023 is extended to October 31st, 2023, in view of the requests from various trade bodies and Tax BarAssociations.
