A notification has been issued 14-09-2021 in connection with Grant of Advance Increments to English Teachers of Punjab by Finance Department,Govt.of Punjab.Further detail of said notification in same is as under;
GRANT OF ADVANCE INCREMENTS TO ENGLISH TEACHERS
I am directed to refer to your letter No.TM-1/1-1A/2020-21/PART FM./2460, dated 13.07.2021 on the subject cited above.
2 The case has been examined. Finance Department observes that EST English
were recruited on the basis of B.A, B.Sc&B.Ed, hence the benefit of advance increments granted to High School Teachers in terms of Para 15(i) of Finance Department’s letter No.FD.PC.2-1/83, dated 25.0o8.1983 has been allowed in the light of decision of PST, Lahore in appeal No. 1545/2010 dated 04.10.2010 upi:ld by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in civil petition No. 16 to 20-L/2011 dated 26.0s.:2r11 and further approval of the Chief Minister,Punjab, the Standing Committee of Finance and Development extended the same benefit t those English Teachers who are at par with the mentioned in Para-l of Finance Department’s letter No. FD.SR.V.21-47/2012, dated 07.04.2021.
3.In view of the foregoing, EST English are entitled for Advance Increments for
MA/M.Ed in the light of Para 15(ili) of Finance Department’s letter No. 1).PC.2-1/83, dated
25.08.1983. Finance Department’s letter bearing No. FD.PR.12-5/84, dated 31.01.1988 is not applicable to English Teachers.
