A notification has been issued regarding Local Holiday Declared for Urs/Mela at Attock on October 5, 202 on 28 September 2023 by Deputy Commissioner Attock.Further detail of said notification in same is as under;
Deputy Commissioner Grants Local Holiday for Urs/Mela at Attock Khurd on October 5, 2023″
WHEREAS, Syed Mashkoor Ali Shah S/O Syed Saadat Ali Shah, Sajjada Nasheen, Darba-e-Alia Hazrat Sakhi Sultan Attock Khurd has submitted an application requesting therein for grant of local holiday on 05th October, 2023 in connection with Urs / Mela at Attock Khurd.
AND WHEREAS, as per record maintained in this office, the Traditional Urs / Mela at Attock Khurd is being held since years and in this connection local holiday had been declared in District Attock for this purpose.
AND WHEREAS, Notification No. SOW-I(S&GAD)1-4/2018(P-III) dated 30th January 2023, issued by Govt. of the Punjab, S&GAD (Section Welfare-I), Lahore, empowers the undersigned to declare two local holidays during the year 2023.
THEREFORE, in exercise of powers conferred upon me vide Notification referred to above, I, RAO ATIF RAZA, Deputy Commissioner, Attock do hereby declare that “THURSDAY” the 05th October, 2023 will be observed as LOCAL HOLIDAY in District Attock on the Eve of Urs / Mela at the Shrine of Syed Sakhi Sultan-ul-Arifeen Saddar-ud-Din Hashim, Attock Khurd.
