Conjunctivitis, commonly known as pink eye, is a highly contagious eye infection which is spreading rapidly in Pakistan espcially in School among Students. The Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department has issued safety guidelines to prevent the spread of conjunctivitis in Punjab.

Kindly refer to the above captioned subject and find enclosed herewith the safety guidelines issued by Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department for prevention from Conjunctivitis/pink eye infection. You are directed to comply with these instructions in letter and spirit. You are further directed to educate students during zero period about causes of spread and precautionary measures against Conjunctivitis/pink eye infection.
