A Notification has been issued on 04-08-2022 in connection with Moharram-ul-Haram Holidays 2022 Sindh. As per the Notification, the residents of the province of Sindh will have holidays on the 8th and 9th of August 2022 by the Government of Sindh, SGA&CD.Further detail of said notification in same is as under;

The Government of Sindh declares 08-08-2022 and 09-08-2022 (Monday & Tuesday) as Public Holidays throughout the province of Sindh on the occasion of Ashura (9th & 10th Moharram-ul-Haram 1444 A.H). These two days’ holidays are for all offices, autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the Government of Sindh. Essential Services and Departments and Offices engaged in the prevention and control of COVID-19 & rain emergencies will not have these holidays.
