A notification of Ban on Transfer and Posting of Govt.Employees in Punjab has been issued on 25-01-2023 by Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department.Further detail of said notification in same is as under;
Ban on Transfer and Posting in Punjab 2023
I direct to refer to the subjects cited above and to state that vide notification no. F2(1)2023-Cird, Saree 22-02-2023. The Election Commission Of Pakistan has imposed a complete ban on the transfer/ Posting. This transfer posting involves Public officials within and to/ from Punjab Province.
I have further directed to state that Competent Authority also pleases to desire that Administrative Departments shall not Communicate with the Election Commission of Pakistan in this regard. In case of extreme exigency transfer/ Posting cases of Public Officials under your Administrative control, they should route through the Services Wing of S&GAD for seeking concurrence of the Election Commission of Pakistan.The instructions may be complied with in letter & spirit
