Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a Notification on 11-03-2024 in connection with School Timings Punjab Schools Ramzan 2024 for 1st Shift & 2nd Shift schools in Punjab.
NO.SO (A-I)1-31/2022: Consequent upon approval of Competent Authority, the following timing shall be observed in all educational institutes/Schools in Punjab during the Holy Month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak-2024:

| Monday to Thursday & Saturday | 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM | Single Shift |
| Friday | 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM | |
| Monday to Thursday & Saturday | 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM | Double Shift/Afternoon |
| 1;30 PM to 4:00 PM(Evening shift | ||
| Friday | 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM |
Morning Assembly shall remain discontinued during to month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak.

- All chief Executive officers (DEA) in Punjab.
- PSO in Ministry for School Education Department.
- PS to SECRETARY, Special Education Department
- PS to Secretary Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education Department.
- PS to Secretary School Education Department.
- PS to Special Secretary School Education Department.
- PS to Additional Secretary (General) School Education Department.
