A notification regarding Revision of Financial Assistance Package for Family of Deceased Employees in Punjab by Finance Department.According to this notification, financial Grant has be revised.In this letter it is also stated that no more recruit on Death Quota will be made.This notification says that As per the new rules the son, daughter, or widow will get no more job. Previously the son, daughter, or widow got the job on a contract or regular basis. The job mostly includes Junior Clerk or Patwari.Further detail is given below;
Revision in Financial Assistance Package for Family of Civil Servant Punjab
In continuation of this department’s policy letter of even number dated 1508.2017 and in pursuance of decision of the Caretaker Provincial Cabinet is 32 Meeting held on 21 11.2023.
I directed to state that the Governor of the Punjab has been pleased to approve following revision in the provisions of Sr No 1 & 5 of para-1 existing Financial Assistance Package notfied vide Finance Department’s policy bearing NO.FD.SR.I ‘3-10/2004 dated 15.082017 for the farndies Of civil servants die in service. It shall be applicable w.e.C 21.112023:
