Pakistan has unveiled the design of a commemorative note of 75 Rupee to mark the nation’s 75th Independence Day. This commemorative note will be available to the public with effect from 30th September 2022.
It is imprinted with the portraits of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, and Allama Iqbal, unlike the other currency notes which only have the picture of the Quaid.

Portraits of Founders
For the Front of the Banknote, the State Bank of Pakistan selected personalities, who were instrumental in elucidating, shaping and supporting the struggle for independence. For this purpose, the portraits of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah were selected to represent the founding fathers’ struggle for independence.
 | Sir Syed Ahmed Khan Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was one of the most prominent Muslim reformers and educationists of South Asia, he advocated modern education and reforms in Muslims’ outlook so as to enable them to survive and flourish in the changing environment. He laid the foundation for freedom with Aligarh Movement and establishment of the Aligarh University. The new 75 rupees note of Pakistan has the following security features:
- The raised painting can be felt by running your finger across the portraits
- Tilting the banknote will change colors between golden and green.
- Watermark of Quaid-e-Azam and 75 Numkeral.
- 75 numeral in Urdu script appears complete when the note is held in the light.
- PureimageTM Security thread with pulsing Holographic rainbow effect
- Micro lettering of 75 numerals.
- Raised painting on 75 numeral and five parallel for identification of banknote by visually impaired.
- Ultraviolet feature GeminiTM which can be seen under Ultraviolet light.
