In spite of the limited resources in the upcoming budget, there is a possibility of including a proposal to increase the salaries and pensions of civil and military employees by 15 to 30 percent.
Up to 30% increase in Salaries and Pensions of Government Employees Budget 2023-24
In the Cabinet meeting which has been called by the Prime Minister, the increasing prices of commodities in the country and their impact on the people in general and the salaried class, whether it is civilian or military, considering the increase in their living expenses. The Prime Minister will consult on increasing the salaries and pensions of civil and military employees in the federal budget by at least 50 percent of the rate of inflation, if not possible.
According to the report, the term of the current assemblies is going to end in the middle of August 2023, so the government in the new federal budget has proposed an increase of 15 to 30 percent in the salaries and pensions of the general public and the military and civil employees in the financial bill. It will make every possible effort to get approval from the National Assembly.
