OGRA Announces Increase in Indigenous LPG Prices for February 2024
In its notification issued on Wednesday, OGRA disclosed the following alterations:
LPG Consumer Price
- The consumer price of LPG has been set at Rs. 257.59 per kg for February, representing a slight increase from Rs. 256.4 in January.
Domestic Cylinder Price
- The 11.8 kg domestic cylinder price for consumers will be Rs. 3,039.63 for February 2024, compared to Rs. 3,025.87 in January.
OGRA provided insights into the factors influencing the price adjustments in a brief statement:
- The LPG producer price is linked with Saudi Aramco-CP and the US Dollar exchange rate.
- Saudi Aramco-CP has experienced a 1.6 percent increase compared to the previous month.
- However, the average Dollar exchange rate has decreased by 1 percent.
