The 2024 General Election is set for February 8, leading to the closure of educational institutes across KP from February 7 to 9. Although officials have decided on this matter, the official announcement is expected in the first week of February.
There’s a possibility of extending holidays beyond February 9, depending on circumstances. Unconfirmed reports suggest educational institutes might have eight holidays from February 4 to February 11. However, government officials have not officially confirmed or denied these reports. It’s important to note that February will have two public holidays: one on February 5 for Kashmir Day and another on February 8 for the general elections.
