In a bid to enhance convenience for Hajj pilgrims, passport delivery counters across the nation will now operate on Saturdays and Sundays. This significant step, announced by Mustafa Jamal Qazi, Director General of Passport Services, aims to streamline the passport collection process for individuals preparing for the Hajj pilgrimage.
Starting from March 2nd to March 31st, passport delivery counters will remain open during weekends. This move provides pilgrims with added flexibility in obtaining their travel documents, thereby alleviating the challenges faced by applicants and offering them more accessible options for securing their passports.
Mustafa Jamal Qazi emphasized that this extension in service hours will significantly ease the passport application process for individuals preparing for the holy journey. This initiative aims to make the process of passport collection easier and more convenient for all applicants.
Furthermore, individuals requiring passport-related assistance can also benefit from services on public holidays. The Directorate General of Passport and Immigration has confirmed that assistance will be available from 9 am to 1 pm on holidays, further facilitating the passport acquisition process for all applicants.
This initiative demonstrates Pakistan’s commitment to providing efficient services to its citizens and ensuring a smooth experience for those embarking on the Hajj pilgrimage.
